Euro 2020 qualifying series.

Hello Mathematical7.com readers,

The second international window break is here and our focus switches from European club action to European Championship (Euro 2020) qualifying series and an international friendly between Brazil and Nigeria in Singapore.

Euro 2020 Qualifiers – Group A

Match:  Czech Republic v England
Synopsis:  Second place Czech Republic host group leaders England at the Sinobo Stadium with three points separating them. Czech has a 100% record at home in the qualifiers and I am expecting a close game in Prague. We should expect a strong challenge from this well-oiledCzech team but England should edge it.
Verdict:   2-1 (England to win)

Euro 2020 Qualifiers – Group F

Match:  Norway v Spain
Synopsis:

Spain has been impressive in the qualifiers so far with six wins from six gamesHost Norway gave a good display in the reverse fixture at the Mestalla in March but it’s home record is poor, just one victory over Malta. Martin Odegaard should provide magic for Norway but I’m tipping Spain not to lose.
Verdict:   2-1 (Spain to win)

Euro 2020 Qualifiers – Group H

Match:  Iceland v France
Synopsis:

A huge match pits third place Iceland against second-place France in a competitive group. Iceland has won all home matches including a victory over group leaders Turkey; they will have revenge on their mind against France who beat them earlier in the qualifiers.  This is a tough test for Deschamps without skipper Hugo Lloris and Paul Pogba. A draw is on the cards;
Verdict:   2-2

Euro 2020 Qualifiers – Group J

Match:  Italy v Greece
Synopsis:  Roberto Mancini has truly transformed the AzzurrisItaly leads the way in Group J, six points better than second-place Finland and they host struggling Greece that has lost three of six matches played.  Italy can take one step closer to securing qualification at Stadio Olimpico.
Verdict:   2-0 (Italy to win)

International Friendly

Match:  Brazil v Nigeria
Synopsis:

This is the second of Brazil’s Singapore tour during this international window. Since Brazil won the Copa America, they are yet to win an international game, two draws and a defeat. On the other hand, Nigeria is building a new exciting team after AFCON with a formidable attack led by Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze and Alex Iwobi. I expect both teams to score and provide fans inside the National Stadium in Kallang with excitement. Going for goals here;
Verdict:   2-2
