Just Move – Live Longer
On ‘90 mins with Mathematical7’ - all is not doom and gloom for Nigeria!
The world is in chaos.
There are crisis everywhere.
Humanity faces an existential threat.
The superpowers are playing dangerous games with each other with the rest of the world as their pawns.
Nigeria is not immune to the consequences, or is she?
Ironically, despite this climate of ‘doom and gloom’, Nigerians in different fields of human endeavour continue to excel - in medicine, science, literature, IT, music, film, even sports.
About a week ago, Research.com, a renowned academic platform for scientists listed Nigeria’s Professor Eghosa Osaghae as Nigeria’s number 1 political scientist.
On ‘90 minutes with Mathematical7’ tomorrow morning, (Saturday, June 7, 2025), Professor Osaghae Eghosa, DG of the NIIA, joins me in an uncommon socio/political conversation as we examine the state of the world and Nigeria’s place in it.
How well is Nigeria faring? Time was when the whole of West Africa would catch cold when Nigeria sneezed.
Now, West Africa is no longer together. Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso have withdrawn their membership of ECOWAS, the regional economic body, effectively disrupting the equilibrium of a region that is imperiled by the activity of foreign saboteurs, religious insurgents, and economic pirates.
Meanwhile, some of us believe that the efficacy of Sport as a powerful soft power tool can come to the rescue. It can be tested with a revival of the ECOWAS Games project to bring back the renegade countries to the union.
Professor Osaghae, leads Dr. Bruce Ijirigho, Dr. Godwin Obasogie and Charlton Ehizuelen all former international athletes and Olympians from the USA, into that world.
From 7:30am this Saturday morning on Eagle7 Sports Radio 103.7 FM and also on the following social media platforms.

Happening now - AirPeace Ambassadors return!
The Eagles just landed!
Airpeace Ambassadors return to Lagos after paying a condolence visit to the family of late Captain and Coach of the national football team of Nigeria, ‘Chairman’ Christian Chukwu, MFR, in Enugu yesterday.
Tears were shed, but in the end the family were very happy to see Chukwu’s colleagues come to see and console them.
The visit also included a visit to ailing AirPeace Ambassador, ‘Tallest’ Emmanuel Okala, MON, at his residence in Enugu.
The attached picture is of the delegation with the widow, Lillian Chukwu (in the middle), the Hon. Commissioner of Youth and Sports Enugu State, Lloyd Ekweremadu (to her left) and the 8 representative-ambassadors that went - Dr. Felix Owolabi, MON; Dr. Bruce Ijirigho; Dr. Godwin Obasogie; Mr. Frank Onwuachi, MON; Mr. Sylvanus Okpala, MON, OON; Mr. Charlton Ehizuelen; Mr. Uche Okechukwu; and ‘Yours Truly’.
The visit was at the instance of Dr. Allen Onyema, Chairman of AirPeace Airline, who kick-started financial support towards a befitting national burial for one of the greatest and most iconic football players in Nigeria’s football history, with a ‘token’ donation.
The burial date is now fixed for August 16, 2025!
Watch out for my Diary of the memorable visit.
