The return of Open air (Outdoor) Cinema!
Next Friday, December 27, 2024, Eagle7 Bamboo Garden, Wasimi, brings back the tradition of Outdoor Cinema.
This is a continuation of the creation of a new social engagement culture, and an evening-economy in the Wasimi environment, through special, end-of-year entertainment packages in that ‘Eden’.
The evening will start at 7:00pm, and the event will be broadcast LIVE on Eagle7 Sports Radio 103.7 FM and via streaming to the global audience on social media platforms.
The show includes a LIVE musical jam session led by Award-winning female bass guitarist, EMEM; 3-time, Ogun State award-winning free-style dancers; and a film show of the epic movie, Agogo Ewo, from the stable of Mainframe Film Productions.
‘The Palm Wine Drinkard’ corner in the Bamboo Garden, named after late internationally-acclaimed writer and original son of Wasimi Orile, Amos Tutuola (Odegbami), who wrote the famous book with the same title, will be declared open by the main Guest of the evening, foremost storyteller and filmmaker, Dr. Tunde Kelani.
All the healthy grills of fresh fish, local chicken, Guinea fowl and peppered snails will be available to lace the chilled array of drinks!
There are Games to be played, gifts to be shared and prizes to be won!
